After roughly three years of international exposure in advertising, I am back in the Philippines. I moved towards a marketing role for a major telecommunications company. Prior to the career transition, I completed the 200-hour YogaWorks Program and now teach private yoga classes part-time. I am also certified Indoor Cycling Instructor and hold regular studio classes.
In 2012, I travelled 8,500 miles to Syracuse, NY to pursue a graduate degree in Advertising all because I enjoyed my job in an agency. I loved the collaborative environment. Barely a year later, I hopped on a plane again and travelled 7,000 miles to Dubai, UAE for an internship opportunity.
People I've met and worked with will not forget me by my petite size. They'll either call me by my real name Isabela or my nickname Raisa. If I were made into a toy, I'd be a Polly Pocket. If I were a cartoon character, I'd be Tinkerbell.
I'm small and tiny. So allow me to make you believe that good things come in small packages.
