USA Today Media Sales Presentation

Our team was asked to prepare a twenty minute sales presentation to the Atlantic City Tourism Board convincing them to allocate a substantial portion of their media budget to USA Today's print, digital, and mobile editions.

We identified target market segments with Simmons, MRI+, Mintel, and comScore.

 

Our highly efficient media plan included recommendations like reimagining USAToday as a digital newspaper with a print distribution channel and advertising online between the hours of 10a and 4p because we found the working public were researching their weekend getaway during work hours.

 

We presented the project to two Media Directors at Gannett who were instructed to cross-examine us like a potential Media Buyer at Atlantic City Tourism would. Our team scored the highest grade in the class, received rave reviews from the Gannett team, and was later invited to meet the VP of Marketing at USA Today due to our success.
